SENIOR PARTNER

Peter Pastras is a Senior Partner in CSM, specializing in intensive program evaluations, new program development, strategic planning and remediation/turnarounds of troubled organizations. He has thirty years of experience developing, assessing and managing services for a diverse set of populations and problems.

Prior to co-founding CSM in 1997, Mr. Pastras managed a continuum of hospital based mental health and addictions services. He was responsible for developing and implementing the planning process that merged three hospital behavioral health systems into a single program. He has worked closely with provider organizations and leadership in the State Department of Human Services to expand and improve services for individuals with mental health, addictions and cognitive disabilities.

Mr. Pastras has demonstrated skills in planning; he has performed numerous complex needs assessments, program evaluations and strategic planning processes of mental health and developmental disabilities programs and systems of care in New Jersey, Florida, Nebraska, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts and West Virginia. Mr. Pastras is a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work and a recipient of the School’s Dean’s Award for Outstanding Achievement. He is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New Jersey and holds a Diplomat in Clinical Social Work from the National Association of Social Workers.
